Joe Patterson

VOX FM has been shaped by the dedication and passion of its members, and few embodied this spirit more than Joe Patterson. For over 28 years, Joe was a cornerstone of the station, serving as President of the Board for more than 15 years, guiding VOX FM with unwavering commitment and vision. Joe’s love for country music was at the heart of his program, Patto's Country, where he brought joy to listeners every Wednesday from 10 AM to noon. He helped shape the sound and direction of VOX FM, ensuring that the station remained a vibrant and welcoming place for all. An avid South Sydney Rabbitohs fan, cheering for his team with the same enthusiasm he brought to radio. Joe’s contributions to VOX FM and his community will never be forgotten. His warmth, dedication, and love for music and sports left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy continues to inspire.

Rest in peace, Joe. You will always be remembered. 🕊️🎶🏉

Michael Hoban

Meet Michael Hoban, the voice that has brought 21 years of vibrant energy, music, sports, and heartfelt storytelling to VOX FM. Michael's journey began on the Irish program, before stepping into the limelight with his own drive program. From early mornings to late nights, Michael has graced every timeslot, filling each moment with his signature wit and captivating tales. A champion both on and off-air, Michael served on the Programming Committee, interviewed countless celebrities and sports icons, and worked tirelessly to support the station, securing a record-breaking $4,000 in donations, Michael's dedication knows no bounds.

Tune in to his Saturday morning show from 5:30 AM to 8:00 AM, and join the countless listeners who start their weekends with Michael's infectious laughter, excellent music, and unmissable stories. Thank you Michael—Keep Rocking! 🎉 🎵
